- Canadian Data Residency
- Your data stays in Canada. We use Google Cloud's northamerica-northeast1 (Montréal) and northamerica-northeast2 (Toronto) regions to ensure full PIPEDA compliance and redundancy.
- SSO Only Authentication
- Integrates with Google Workspace and FLW CONNECT TECHNOLOGY – MapleOffice integration (Microsoft 365). No passwords means no weak credentials to compromise. Disabling a corporate account instantly cuts MapleOffice access.
- No Tracking or Surveillance
- We collect minimum viable data. No GPS, camera, microphone, or keystroke logging. MapleOffice is a tool employees can trust—it does its job without creeping on theirs.
- No Use of Data for AI Training
- MapleOffice does not use customer data for AI training. Any automation is deterministic, verifiable, and privacy-focused—ideal for regulated and security-sensitive environments.
Compliance & Policies
- PIPEDA/GDPR: adherence to data protection principles like purpose limitation and data subject rights.
- Data Retention: Configurable retention for logs. We balance history with privacy.
- Backups & Disaster Recovery: Daily encrypted backups stored within Canada.
- Access Controls: Strict role-based access. Support staff cannot access your data without explicit, temporary permissions.
